One of my go-to spots for dinner, happy hour, or brunch is Brix Cafe. This popular corner restaurant offers an expansive covered patio, a cocktail lounger, and restaurant seating.
Pictured here is the Vanilla Cafe Martini, made with Espresso, Smirnoff vanilla vodka, Bailey’s Irish Cream, and Kahlua.
If you love deliciously prepared shoestring french fries, this is the place for you! On this visit, we opted for the truffle fries. I ate way too many of these; they are addictive!
I highly recommend pairing this combo with the order of truffle fries. This warm broccoli salad was unbelievably good. The garlic anchovy and lemon dressing were mouth-watering!
The burger was equally delicious: juicy and filling with smoky bacon and wagyu beef on a Macrina Bakery bun.
We also tried the mushroom risotto with added grilled steak for additional protein. I love that Brix has gluten-free and vegetarian options!
This locally owned restaurant originated in Juanita, Washington, before opening a new Woodin Creek location a few years ago. I always notice the warm and welcoming atmosphere and friendly service when I visit here. The food is delicious and consistent, and in water months, the patio is an excellent spot for people-watching. The Woodin Creek community is vibrant and active, a fun place to visit for sweet treats, food, and wine tasting!
