Over the last couple of years, Renton, Washington has become a phenomenal food hub. The Landing in particular has a lot of different food options for every craving.
We’ve listed a few of our favorite restaurants at The Landing in Renton so far!
Papaya Vietnamese Cafe
If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat, take a look at Papaya Vietnamese Cafe at The Landing. This is located right across the street from the cinema. Grab a bite to eat before you hit the theater!
They have a little bit for everyone. Papaya Vietnamese Cafe offers both healthy dishes and comfort foods to choose from.
I am a sucker for Vietnamese coffee, so I immediately ordered one! Then we ordered the Tofu and Avocado Fresh Rolls.
Originally, I was going to get pho, but the noodle salads were calling to me. It came with fried tofu, marinated in a sweet sauce. I didn’t expect grilled peppers or pickled radish. It was yummy! I was shocked at how large the portion sizes were.
Jen tried the traditional Hue Spicy Noodle Soup. This is made with beef shank, thick rice noodles, and Vietnamese ham. The broth is a little sweeter than pho but can be adjusted with all the same toppings. This was the perfect way to warm up on a winter day.
Papaya at the Landing has gorgeous botanical decorations and a warm environment that we love!
Vino at the Landing
Looking for the perfect place for a first date? Try Vino at the Landing – It is quaint and cozy!
Vino is unique because it carries many local wine varieties. They don’t offer flights. You can pick and choose 3 oz or 6oz pours of your liking. They supply Washington winemakers such as Bookwalter Wines, Two Vintners, Mark Ryan Wines, and many more. There are other Pacific Northwest winemakers featured, too, such as Averaen Wines.
If you aren’t a wine drinker, there are cider and beer options that are also from local makers.
There are a lot of options available for all dietary needs.
Our favorites have been the Bacon Wrapped Dates, Creamy Crimini Mushroom Bruschetta, and the Vino Platter that is perfect for sharing.
Snowy Village Dessert Cafe
Do you have a sweet tooth? You will have to visit Snowy Village at the Landing in Renton. There you will find amazing Korean desserts! They offer bingsoo, croissant taiyaki, coffee, and teas.
Jen and I tried their traditional bingsoo which is milk-based “snow” that is topped with red beans, Korean rice cakes, soy powder, toasted almonds, and milk syrup. Jen added delicious matcha to the mix!
Both of us took home two buttery and delicious taiyakis filled with Nutella!
Snowy Village at the Landing in Renton has delicious and unique desserts. I can’t wait to go during the summertime!
Exit 5 Korean BBQ
If you’re looking for a place to gather with loved ones, Exit 5 Korean BBQ is perfect! You will have to make sure to come here hungry because there is plenty of food to share. The only caveat is that this isn’t vegan or vegetarian-friendly.
We love Korean BBQ, so we ordered the Mix Combo that came with Beef Briskey, Short Ribs, Pork Belly, and so much more. You are provided with endless sides like pickled radish, kimchi, rice, etc. There are other BBQ options you can choose from with different price points.
Exit 5 Korean BBQ offers more than just BBQ. There are a ton of delicious stews, appetizers, seafood, and even lunch boxes to pick from. This is a great option if you are just stopping by for a quick bite!
