About two months ago I went with a friend to Long Shadows at their previous tasting room. We had such a good time and they had a phenomenal flight of wines! At the time, I had no idea that they were in the process of moving to a new location in Woodinville.
Finally, Jen and I had the opportunity to look at Long Shadows’ new tasting room right as it opened! It was such a shock to see the difference between the two spaces!
The new space is located in the West Valley District next to Delille, Sparkman Cellars, and Fidelitas (also a new location!) There is plenty of parking, and it’s close to other restaurants and tasting rooms. It is a fantastic location for a romantic date or gathering with friends.
Long Shadows’ new location is vibrant and chic. You will find plenty of seating, but make sure to check ahead of time to see how busy they are. Reservations are strongly recommended for groups of all sizes. Drop-ins are welcome if the schedule allows, however, appointments are limited! If you want to sit outside, there is a covered deck upstairs.
Next time we visit, we want to sit upstairs and enjoy the weather and the gorgeous greens of the Pacific Northwest.
We were thrilled to see that they now serve food! You’ll find flatbreads, little snacks, and nibbles. Jen and I were excited to try their charcuterie board. Our host was incredible and guided us through every bite and sip. It was also a generous serving size, we couldn’t finish the entire board.
Of course, Long Shadows is known for its award-winning wines. It was hard to decide which bottles to take home, but ultimately I decided to take home their 2022 Cymbal Sauvignon Blanc and 2022 Julia’s Dazzle Rosé which comes in a gorgeous bottle.
Make sure to come visit their new location soon as the weather heats up!
