Tsillan Cellars Tasting Room

Tsillan Cellars beautiful tasting room in the heart of Woodin Creek Village.

Tsillan Cellars recently moved to a new tasting room in the heart of Woodin Creek Village, and when we say this place is stunning, it is an understatement! This new wine-tasting room reflects the same Tuscan Villa feel you may have experienced if you have ever visited the estate in Chelan, WA. It’s beautiful, cozy, and ‘grammable, with warm neutral colors and stunning cream-colored stone floors. We are big fans of this winery and are super excited for the Tsillan team to settle into their gorgeous new space.

Friendly staff at Tsillan Cellars

The warm and inviting atmosphere of the space is mirrored by the amazing staff. We can’t say enough positive things about how fantastic Taylor is every single time we visit or run into her in Woodinville. She explained the history and qualities of each of the wines she poured for us and we enjoyed chatting with her.

Dolce Donna white blend wine

This Dolce Donna was a surprise for me because it is a blend of 80% Muscat and 20% Reisling. Typically I would shy away from wines higher in residual sugar, but this one was lovely! It was on the sweeter side, but it was not syrupy or shockingly sweet. I picked up notes of pineapple, tangerine, and exotic floral. On the palate, it is a burst of ripe peach and luscious papaya. At under $30 a bottle, it is a fun one to try and see what you think.

Tasting room at Tsillan Cellars, Woodinville WA

When I look at this area of the tasting room, I can’t help but think of how delightful it would be to make a reservation for a group of our closest friends for a delicious food and wine pairing experience. As we were sipping our wine and nibbling, we enjoyed watching wall art being installed. I can’t wait to go back for another visit soon.

Kaiti at Tsillan Cellars, Woodinville

Kaiti enjoyed her wine selection so much that she is considering joining the wine club. If you would like to learn more about this very flexible and wine-lover-friendly wine club, click here.

I was most impressed by the 20-tasting per year punch-card-style tasting structure. This way, members can bring friends and simply utilize one of their allocated wine tastings.

Red wine in a wineglass at Tsillan Cellars

We were really impressed with the 2019 Sinistra, a Merlot dominant red blend from Washington State’s Red Mountain AVA. It was medium-bodied with delicious flavors of Bing cherry and raspberry with a chocolate finish. At only $32 a bottle, this is a “bougie on a budget” type of red wine!

The 2019 Reserve Estate Syrah is always a holiday favorite for me. The bottle makes a stunning addition to your festive tablescape. This Syrah is full-bodied with flavors of rich plum and herbs, and somehow manages to maintain a somewhat delicate and nuanced finish. If you are a fan of Washington Syrah, I would definitely give this one a try!

Bougie trail mix at Tsillan Cellars

This tasting room has a kitchen and offers some delicious menu options. We had just finished lunch, so our appetites were small. This “bougie trail mix” was the perfect salty/sweet combination. It had chocolate pieces, dried cherries, smoked gouda cheese, and Marcona almonds.

The tasting room is located in Woodin Creek’s Wine alley, which also has a very European villa feeling to it. It is a perfect match of vision and style! Parking is free in the nearby lot, as well as along the street. Additionally, there are indoor lots set up for retail visitors located in the parking garages.

The tasting room is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm as well as on Thursday, Friday Saturday from 12 pm to 7 pm.

The street address for reference is 13550 NE Village Sq. Drive, Unit 1070, Woodinville, WA 98072. For questions, you can call (425) 482-5976.

Enjoy your visit at Tsillan Cellars and let us know what you think!

Cheers!

Jen
