Walla Walla Steal Company opened a new location in Woodinville’s Schoolhouse District, and we were thrilled to attend the grand opening. This steakhouse is the talk of the town with its open-air kitchen and impressive bar. We immediately added this to the top of our go-to list.
For my entree I ordered King Salmon, which was served with a spiced apple beurre blanc sauce and corn succotash. I loved it!
I also tried the wedge salad, and it was gorgeous. You can’t go wrong with a classic wedge salad.
Carrie ordered this scrumptious cauliflower gratin, and I had to try a few bites. Made with parmesan cream and crispy breadcrumbs, it was a perfect substitute for heavier potato gratin or mac and cheese.
The crispy brussels are a must! They have a light crispy texture and are finished with a spicy mustard seed vinaigrette. We shared this and nearly fought over it. So good!
The wine selection is impressive as well. I ordered a glass of pinot but neglected to write down which one. Oops! I must have been enjoying myself a little bit too much.
Is your mouth watering yet? Look at this cheesecake! Light, fluffy, and not too sweet with strawberry rhubarb and lemon curd drizzled on top. They had me at “rhubarb”.
I will be happy to report back the next time I visit and try one of Walla Walla Steak Company’s steaks. As we sat at our table, I watched several servers pass by with mouth-watering steak entrees. We would be remiss to exclude a warm and grateful mention to the staff here. We were greeted warmly and engaged with staff throughout the entire restaurant, making us feel welcome and excited.
