Celaeno Cellars Forever Blonde

We always rush back to Celaeno Winery whenever we run low on their wines at home. Winemaker Brian Countryman is always there, and he never ceases to make us laugh. He also is always pouring wines with some age on them in his tasting room. This visit was no exception!

To start things off, we were treated to this 2020 Forever Blonde Chardonnay from Dry Lake Vineyard in Lake Chelan. We love the label art on this bottle!

This 2010 Lady in Red, red wine blend is a perfect example of the aging in Celaeno’s wines. How often have you stopped into a Woodinville tasting room and had an opportunity to try something with 10 years of age on it? I appreciate this so much.

James and Carrie at Celaeno Cellars

My favorites from the tasting were the Syrah and the 2014 Petit Verdot. Both are outstanding and I probably should have purchased several bottles of each. Here are Carrie and James enjoying the Syrah.

Celaeno Winery has an easy-going vibe and a fun atmosphere. You will enjoy meeting the winemaker Brian and hearing his firsthand stories of each of his wines. The tasting room is located at 5007 Woodinville Redmond Rd. NE, Woodinville, WA 98072 and is open for wine tastings on Friday (1pm – 5 pm), Saturday and Sunday (12pm – 5pm).
