This year I’m sending lots of edible gourmet food gifts to friends and family. It’s a stressful time for everyone, and I’m hoping to brighten their holidays a little bit.
I like sending “consumable” gifts instead of “cluttery” gifts – things you use up, like food, bath and body products, calendars and candles. That way my gifts don’t contribute to any clutter in someone else’s home.

One of my favorite chocolate companies is Vosges Haut Chocolat (prounounced “vohzh.”) Their chocolates are incredibly delicious (and I’m picky about chocolate) and the packaging is beautiful and sure to impress recipients.
Here in Washington State, we make “sparkling wine” not “champagne.” But these Champagne Truffles from Vosges would pair nicely with our Pet-Nats (try Savage Grace’s!) and our sparkling wines (stop by Wit Cellars or Patterson Cellars for festive sparkling wines for the holidays).

Another chocolate to pair with sparkling wine is Vosges’ Peppermint Candy Cane Gnomes. They’re cute little bite sized chocolates, and come in a festive illustrated box.
