Carrie and I were both so excited to learn that our friend Carole from Keto Carole was going to be in Woodinville this week. I was unfortunately covered in attic insulation (trying to make sure snow had not gotten in the roof vents during the big storm) and missed this wine tasting patio date. I hope to see Carole soon!
Carrie and Carole started things off with brunch at The Commons Woodinville, one of our favorite Woodinville restaurants! I always have the veggie scramble or the avocado toast when I visit for breakfast. So delicious! Add this restaurant to your trip planning list, for sure.
After they finished their meal, the ladies walked over to Mark Ryan Winery for a wine tasting and discovered that the 2020 Rosé has been released! This was a favorite of ours last season, as well as for many other wine lovers, and we are thrilled to see it available once again. Check out the gorgeous illustration by artist Kyler Martz, it is fabulous on this wine label!
Can you tell that we are excited for Rosé season here at Woodinville Wine Blog? If not, let me explain a little… Rosé season means the weather is warming up soon, Spring is on the horizon, warm patio days are coming and our annual Rosé party is growing nearer. Pinch me, winter is almost OVER!
The tasting flight included three new February releases which you can learn more about by watching this virtual wine tasting video with Mark Ryan McNeilly. I cannot wait to visit the recently remodeled Woodinville tasting room and try these new Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignons!
This lovely wine flight included the 2019 Chardonnay , 2017 Lost Soul (100% Syrah), 2018 Water Witch (new release), 2018 newly released Old Vines and the newly released 2018 Lonely Heart.
You can make your reservation to visit the Mark Ryan Woodinville tasting room here. This fun, casual tasting room is located at 14475 Woodinville-Redmond Rd, in Woodinville, WA 98072.
We hope to see you soon at Mark Ryan Winery tasting room in the Hollywood District, Woodinville WA!
Say hi if you notice us out running around. Cheers!
Jen
