What’s new in the world of Woodinville wine this Autumn 2020? Let’s take a peek at some of the newest offerings available from wineries and tasting rooms at the Apple Farm Village in the Hollywood District of Woodinville wine country.
425 Cellars is the newest winery here at Apple Farm Village in Woodinville. They put together a special Thanksgiving 3-bottle holiday pack of wine bottles which includes their 2019 Albarino, their Rosé and their Terrace Tempranillo, for $65 plus tax.
Guardian Cellars debuted their popular “Chalk Line” red wine blend in October. This is my go-to when hosting a party for people I don’t know well – it’s a crowd pleaser.
This autumn, Lauren Ashton Cellars released their 2018 Roussanne and a 2014 Malbec. (I must note I took home a bottle of the Roussanne and enjoyed it!)
Obelisco Estate Winery released a 2019 Late Harvest wine just in time for the holidays – and it’s made with 100% Red Mountain Cabernet! They also released their 2017 Nefer III Cabernet and their Tuscan style 2017 Sangiovese which I have got to get my hands on!
Otis Kenyon released their 2018 Tempranillo and their 2019 Roussanne just in time for Thanksgiving 2020!
Torii Mor offers several new releases for autumn and perfect for Thanksgiving: Their 2018 Chardonnay, 2018 Deux Verres Reserve Pinot Noir, 2018 Olson Estate Pinot Noir, and their 2018 Dundee Hills Select Pinot Noir.
Zerba Cellars recently released a wine in honor of their owner, Marilyn Zerba, who passed away in 2019. Marilyn’s Blend 2018 is a red wine blend made from grapes grown on the original vines she planted years ago.
Happy wine shopping and happy Thanksgiving!
