New Washington Canned Wines from Fruit & Flower

I’m getting ready for a long, beautiful, hot and sunny Labor Day Weekend. I’m going to be spending some time with family on a boat ride, and thought to pick up some canned wine to take along with me to share.

My UPS driver just dropped off my order of Fruit & Flower canned wines from Elicit Wine and I thought I’d give you a peek at them.

You have three choices (I of course had to get a box of each!): Rosé, Chardonnay, and Bubbles. I don’t care for Chardonnay personally (though I haven’t tasted this yet – Fruit & Flower might yet win me over) so I’m planning to foist those two cans off on my cousin who is a big Chardonnay fan.

Elicit Wine Project is part of Chateau Ste. Michelle/Ste. Michelle Wine Estates. You can shop for Fruit & Flower wines on their website. They’re sold in two-packs.

Drinking alcohol while boating can be dangerous, so I’ll limit myself to just one can (they contain approximately 1.5 glass pours)

I haven’t tasted any of these canned Washington wines yet – I am trying my best to save them to share with my cousins tomorrow. I’m not a wine reviewer anyway but I bet a quick Google search can turn up another wine blogger’s review of these canned wines.

The packaging on the cans is so charming! I can totally see bringing these with me as a hostess gift to someone’s backyard social distancing barbecue or garden party.
