Jen and I recently took advantage of her club membership at DeLille Cellars to partake in a wine tasting on the beautiful club-only third floor patio, on a beautiful sunny morning. (Yes, we ate big breakfasts and then began our wine drinking day at 11 am! Up with the birds, practically).
After our tasting flight (which included Doyenne, their excellent Rose, and a nice Roussanne) we asked for a glass of the 25th vintage of Chaleur Blanc to enjoy before we left. (Note that DeLille Cellars, like many Woodinville wineries, has timed tastings and asks you to give up your table at the end of your allotted time slot, so it can be sanitized and given to another party).
