National Rosé Day is celebrated the second Saturday of each June. This year it falls on Saturday, June 13.
We normally throw a big local wine industry party on this day, opening up nearly 100 bottles of Rosé to sample with our friends. However, this year gatherings in my backyard are limited to under 6 people for everyone’s safety.
Instead, we thought it would be fun to have a National Rosé Day Virtual Brunch and Wine Tasting. We’ll do a little day-drinking with brunch, before heading out to a newly re-opened tasting room in Woodinville later in the day to continue celebrating.
Though our restaurants and wineries have re-opened under Phase 1.5, many of our friends still are staying safely at home and not venturing out much. We’d love to join you, online, for breakfast or brunch, and chatting about our wonderful local Rosé wines from local Woodinville and Washington wineries.
We will host the Virtual Brunch and Wine Tasting live on our Facebook page and stream it simultaneously to our YouTube channel as well.
If you’d like to attend, please set yourself to “Going” on our Facebook event page so we know how many people are interested.
Want to join us on camera? You’ll need a desktop or laptop computer, webcam and mic, quiet environment (no TV in the background or loud backyard noises), and a Facebook account. We can PM you the Streamyard link to join us. Drop us a note via Woodinville Wine Blog’s Facebook messages!
