If you like Spanish style wines, your first stop should be Pomum Cellars, over in the Artisan Hill district in Woodinville. Winemaker Javier Alfonso is creating absolutely fabulous Spanish style wines using Washington grapes. You’ll want to try the Tinto Tempranillo. Club members get access to the winery’s Idilico label of Spanish style wines, including Albarinos, Monastrell, a Graciano, and reserve Tempranillos.

While you’re in Artisan Hill, stop by Adrice Wines to pick up their Alma Albarino.

In the Woodinville Warehouse District, you’ll want to head to Michael Florentino Cellars. There you’ll enjoy tasting their Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), Albarino, Tempranillo and Mezclado. You might be able to purchase a library Monastrell wine from them as well.

Across the parking lot you’ll find Smasne Cellars, where you can taste two Albarinos and possibly a library Tempranillo.

Nearby in the warehouse district, Elevation Cellars has a fantastic Black Peak Tempranillo.

One of my very favorite tasting rooms to visit in Woodinville is Castillo de Feliciana. They produce a Garnacha, a couple of Albarinos, and incredibly delicious Tempranillo,

You can stop by Brian Carter Cellars in the Hollywood District to taste his Spanish red wine blend, Corrida.

Pop across the street to Cave B Estate Winery to try their Tempranillo.

Next door, you can taste estate-grown Washington Tempranillo and Albarino at Cougar Crest Winery. While you’re there, try their Syrillo, a blend of Tempranillo and Syrah.

At the Hollywood Schoolhouse, wander into Alexandria Nicole Cellars where you can taste Tempranillo and Albarino.

At the Apple Farm Village, Zerba Cellars produces a Tempranillo as well.

Over at The Junction, you can taste Tempranillo at Sol Stone Winery. Note that they’re having a Tempranillo & Paella event on October 19, 2019!

Over in Woodinville’s West Valley District, you can taste Kennedy Shah Reserve Tempranillo at The Woodhouse Wine Estates. On your way over to Woodhouse, stop by Columbia Winery for their excellent Tempranillo.

There are several other wineries in Woodinville that offer Tempranillo; feel free to drop your winery’s name in the comments below if I’ve forgotten one of your Spanish style wines!

Enjoy your Spanish wine tasting!
