Summer is coming! Look what I found at World Market’s Woodinville store: Republic of Tea’s Sonoma wine-inspired iced teas!

I couldn’t resist picking up one of each kind to sample. Each tin holds six tea bags, enough for six one-quart pitchers of wine-flavored iced tea.

The Pinot Punch iced tea includes dried wine grape skins, with raspberry and orange. The Rosé iced tea utilized grape skins, strawberries and apples; and the Chardonnay iced tea uses grape skins along with pineapples and peaches. Republic of Tea also makes a Cabernet Iced Tea, not pictured, with oranges and currants.

I’m planning on throwing many, many outdoor parties this summer – we Seattleites like to make the most of warm sunny weather on the rare occasions we have it!

Of course, as a wine blogger, my parties are wine-themed. But I also like to be sure to set out choices for non-drinkers: sodas, sparkling water, lemonade, and iced tea. These wine-themed teas can help make my parties a bit more festive for non-drinkers, recovering alcoholics or pregnant ladies who miss drinking alcohol!

I set out an ice bucket and my pink vintage Depression glass goblets.

If you ended up being a designated driver for friends on a hot day this summer, which wine-inspired iced tea might tempt you the most?

Check out our Facebook page for the live video I’ll make when I taste these iced teas!
