DeLille Cellars was founded in 1992 by Charles and Greg Lil, Jay Soloff and acclaimed winemaker, Chris Upchurch. Soon after, the winery acquired the rights to Harrison Hill vineyard which is home to some of the oldest vines in the state of Washington. DeLille is commited to its tradition of creating quality, award winning Bordeaux blends. DeLille Cellars is considered a pioneer of Bordeaux and Rhone style Washington winemaking. They have recently announced a new director of winemaking, Jason Gorski.
The stunning Chateau DeLille is a sprawling estate used for winemaker dinners, wine club events, private and corporate events and weddings. For more information, email chateau@delillecellars.com.
The grounds of the Chateau are impeccably groomed and maintained. The property is also home to DeLille’s main offices. Inside the Chateau, guests will find a grand fireplace and cozy upstairs dressing suites. It is a beautiful locaton for any special event.
Carrie and I enjoyed attending the Spring Barrel event at the Woodinville production facility last year. This year, DeLille will move its production operations and tasting room to the former Red Hook brewery, which it will share with Sparkman Cellars, and Teatro Zinzanni. The new facility will include a rooftop deck for wine club members. ( We cannot wait!)

I have personally served DeLille Cellars at parties and family fuctions and my guests always ask me where they can find these delicious wines. They are a staple of my Woodinville Wine collection!
