Visiting Gard Vintners in Woodinville at the Sunday Block Party

Yesterday, my friend Angie and I were out wine tasting in Woodinville’s warehouse district. We’d just stopped back in town for snacks and iced tea at Teddy’s Bigger Burgers, and had time for just one more adventure. I thought I’d show her the fun and festive Sunday Block Party at the Junction, knowing how much Angie likes live music.

I brought Angie into Gard Vintners, where I introduced her to the fabulous Patricia. We also met the delightful tasting room associate, Lindsay, who regaled us with stories of her mission trips to South Africa.

This sign cracks me up!

Lindsay and Patricia invited us to sit on the patio with our glass pour of Gard Vintners Rosé. We caught just the last song by Larry Murante – I wish we hadn’t lingered inside Teddy’s so long. (But their air conditioning felt SO good!)

I can always count on Larry Murante for a great song and a wonderful smile. Here he was braving 90 degree weather under a canopy that didn’t quite provide him much shade!

The Junction’s Sunday Block Parties continue through September 2. Be sure to get to The Junction long before 5pm so you have time to settle in with a beverage, grab food from one of the food trucks and enjoy the live music. Everybody starts rolling up the carpets and locking up for the night just after 5pm!
