Popping Into William Church Winery’s Warehouse District Tasting Room

Today, on a rainy lazy Sunday, I stopped by the William Church Winery tasting room here in the Woodinville Warehouse District. I’d only previously been to their Hollywood District tasting room and was eager to compare the two. An immediate difference is the larger amount of parking available near the Warehouse District tasting room.

Inside, I met Porter, the official tasting room dog. He was snoozing, so I let him be, but really wished I could pet him!

Unlike the Hollywood District tasting room, this one stores many barrels of wine. There’s a small seating area, which I didn’t photograph due to preserving the privacy of the two people sitting there enjoying a wine tasting.

The three newest releases are the 2015 2 Spires, the 2017 Viognier, and the 2015 Cabernet Franc.

I’d actually popped in hoping to pick up their Confessional Rosé, but tasting room associate John said it wasn’t in stock here. I remember hearing that they made very few cases of it, so I’d better run over to the Hollywood District tasting room as soon as I can to buy a bottle before it sells out!

Instead, I purchased the 2014 2 Spires to take home for my collection.

You can learn more about William Church wines here.

The Warehouse District tasting room is open Saturday from noon to 5 pm, and Sunday from 1pm to 5pm, or by appointment. It’s located at 19495 144th Ave NE, Suite A100, Woodinville, WA 98072.

William Church’s Hollywood District tasting room is open longer hours, Sunday through Thursday from noon-6 pm and Friday/Saturday from noon-8:30 pm.
