Stopping By Castillo de Feliciana to Chat and Pick Up More Wine

On Sunday, my boyfriend and I were heading to the Woodinville Home Depot to pick up some supplies for our forthcoming vegetable garden. However, I couldn’t just pass by Castillo de Feliciana without stopping in to say hello and replenish my Spanish style wine inventory.

Spring isn’t quite here yet, but look how nicely their patio area is shaping up! Someone clearly has put a lot of work into creating this beautiful area and keeping it pristine and charming.

I can’t wait to visit and drink wine in this cute courtyard when the weather gets warmer.

While I made my wine purchase, Dionne tried really hard to entice us to stay and enjoy a tasting. However, my boyfriend really is a beer drinker at heart, and we really did need to get to Home Depot and the pet store and various other errands. We sadly had to decline.

I did make sure to snap a photo of their current tasting menu so you could peruse it.

Dionne reminded us of Castillo de Feliciana‘s many fun upcoming events in their Woodinville tasting room: Beat the Geek trivia nights and Acoustic nights on alternating Fridays; and a Sip and Paint event on a Saturday evening.

Back at home after our errands, I agonized over which delicious bottle of wine to open to enjoy on our sunny Sunday evening. Bob poured himself a beer, and I finally settled on the Albarino. It paired well with my vegetarian tacos (beef tacos for Bob!) I’m saving the Malbec to share with my friend Valerie, and I suspect the Tempranillo won’t survive unopened for another week!
