I have tried Mark Ryan wines at home many times, but last week marked my first trip to their Woodinville tasting room. Carrie and I had just finished a light lunch at the Commons and popped next door for a lovely wine tasting. Our first sip began with this 2016 Chardonnay.
The $10 tasting fee is refunded with a purchase of a $30 bottle of wine. They have one of the largest tasting menus we’ve seen yet!
You’ll have to pop in sometime to see their intriguing framed art on the walls. Lots of motorcycle themed pieces, and music-related prints and posters, too.
Carrie likes to stand in front of gigantic bottles of wine and daydream about serving one at a party.
A couple of cherished motorcycles are on display in the tasting room, too.
And a bicycle!
Cases of wine await purchase by wine club members.
The Fall 2017 release wines include a 2015 Long Haul, 2015 Dead Horse, 2015 Little Sister, and the 2016 Chardonnay.
We were excited to try the Megan Anne Pinot Noir, from Mark Ryan’s wife’s Megan Anne Cellars.
My turn to pose in front of tempting wine bottles while enjoying a tasting of “The Dissident.”
The decor includes a signed guitar – come visit the tasting room yourself to learn more about it!
We each purchased a bottle to take home for the weekend – Carrie’s throwing a party as always and wants to treat her guests to Woodinville wine, and I’m looking forward to sharing my bottle of “Dissident” with my boyfriend on our next quiet date night at home.
