On a recent Sunday, Carrie, Zoe and I made plans for a wine tasting girls day. I find that being a mom of two, working full time, and balancing all of my personal responsibilities and commitments can be a daunting task, and I was very excited for some relaxation! We had a limited window of time and sought out three tasting rooms that open at 11 AM on Sundays.
The first stop on our tour was JM Cellars, a few blocks off the beaten path. JM has incredibly beautiful grounds, filled with winding, shaded trails and a running stream.
Guests of JM Cellars have the choice of sipping their wines in the tasting room or exploring the stunning grounds at Bramble Bump. You can visit the winery at 14404 137th Pl NE Woodinville, WA 98072.
Columbia Winery is also open at 11 AM on Sundays and offers live music later in the day, part of their Summer Concert Series. These outdoor concerts run from 2-5 on Sundays until September 3rd.
Guests of Columbia Winery will find ample seating inside the tasting room. Small plates are also available for dining while you sip!
The barrel room at Columbia Winery is one of the most stunning that we have seen. It can be reserved for private events and weddings or you may call to arrange a tour.

Chandler Reach Vineyards is located in the Hollywood district, close to many restaurants, including The Commons and Village Wines.
This friendly tasting room serves guests smooth drinking reds and has an incredibly friendly staff. Kristen was our wine steward at our wine tasting, and we loved all of her helpful pairing suggestions.
Chandler Reach is a dog-friendly tasting room, which, as you can see here, makes Cooper very happy!
