On a recent cold but beautifully sunny day, Jen and I took a moment to drive into the beautiful grounds of Chateau Ste. Michelle, craving the approach of Spring.
The vines are beginning to grow. Looking at them reminded me of walking through the vines on my way back from outdoor summer concerts last year – a lovely memory!
We were delighted that none of the hard-at-work landscapers seemed to mind us briefly strolling through the grounds.
It was hard to pull ourselves away from our relaxing walk.
Soon this place will be teeming with thirsty wine tasters, families and concertgoers!
Chateau Ste. Michelle opens at the amazingly early 10am, and closes at 5pm unless there’s a special event going on.
We knew we needed to move on, get ourselves a hot lunch and perhaps some tea or coffee to warm up. But look at this view!
This place always has plenty of parking, and room to wander and explore.
Jen is an amazing photographer, and so far this is my favorite of the Woodinville winery photos she’s taken!
